Old Time Pottery out of bankruptcy
Murfreesboro-based Old Time Pottery emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week, the company announced. The home decor retailer filed for bankruptcy protection last August after losing a line of credit from SunTrust Bank, which followed declining sales in 2008 and 2009. The company closed seven stores as part of its reorganization. It now has 30 stores in the South and Midwest. Chief Financial Officer Robert Sharp said in June that the chain expected to be able to fully pay its vendors. The company was represented by Tom Forrester of Gullett, Sanford, Robinson & Martin PLLC. feeds.bizjournals.com |
