The Brownie Artisans at Greyston Bakery have launched Do-Goodie Brownies, and it's not just about the dessert. This Yonkers, N.Y.-based bakery, the producer of brownie mix-ins for Ben & Jerry's ice cream, has turned a sweet profit and now is giving all its Do-Goodie Brownie proceeds to the Greyston Foundation, dedicated to community-involvement initiatives such as low-income housing, child care, health services and technology education. Do-Goodie Brownies come in a variety of flavors: Chocolate Fudge, Walnut Fudge, Espresso Bean and Brown Sugar Blondie. They sell for $1.49 each at Plum Market in Ann Arbor and Bloomfield Township.
