| Maeve Pesquera Maeve O’Gorman Pesquera has been involved in Houston’s restaurant industry for 18 years. Her love affair with the restaurant business began as a student at the Conrad N. Hilton School of Hotel and Restaurant Management in the early 1990s. After accepting a job with the Vallone Restaurant Group, Pesquera was selected by Tony Vallone to be his youngest general manager at age 21. She later was recruited by Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in 2002 to open its new restaurant in Houston, becoming only the second female operating partner in the company. Since then, the Fleming’s location in River Oaks has held the record for the highest-grossing first year in the company’s history, and has continued to be recognized within the organization for reaching high sales and profit goals.
